Client Requirement
The project was to convert an existing Quotes Generation Insurance Application from ASP to JSP. This also included the unification of all different databases that the application accessed data with.

Solution Implemented
Z&A was responsible for converting an application developed in ASP running with two Access and one Oracle Database to JSP based application running on Iplanet server on UNIX and all databases converted to Oracle. The application takes in user input on the web, and based on data entered, an insurance quote is generated. The user input screens are generated dynamically from the product definition database, and the quote is generated from back-end database. The entire project was executed offshore in India, with an onsite project coordinator at client site.
