Client Requirement
Bank needed a web enabled intranet application to enable their personnel to effectively process domestic entitlements.

Solution Implemented
The system enables the user to acquire information about security holdings, generate the required entitlement transactions and batch controls and then process the transactions. This system processed entitlements of various types like tender offers, exchanges, mergers, dividends etc. The front-end was designed in HTML and JavaScript was used for client side form validations. It was decided not to use applets, therefore minimizing front-end loading time and allowing more browsers to support the GUI. The back-end was designed using Java Servlets and Sybase 11.0 as the database. The Servlets access the database making a JBDC connection.
